ORDER POLICY

CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

  • When your order is placed, you will receive an automated message to alert you that the order has been received. This message does not guarantee availability of products, and does not confirm that your order has successfully been processed. You will receive further contact if there is an issue in regards to completing your order.
  • QTW must receive complete payment of goods and services before your order can be accepted.
  • Unless otherwise requested, orders awaiting items will not be processed until the despatch date.

PRICE & PAYMENT

  • All prices advertised on the QTW website are discounted student prices, are GST inclusive, but exclude delivery costs.
  • Corporate discounts may be applicable for bulk orders. To determine eligibility, contact QTW by phone or email.
  • Teachers or course facilitators may be eligible for further discount. To determine eligibility, contact QTW by phone or email.
  • No additional discounts are available for customers in possession of health or senior cards.
  • Prices of textbooks may be subject to change in response to increases in the wholesale price determined by publishers. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
  • Payment for products online may only be made by Visa or MasterCard. To arrange other payment methods, or to enquire about other payment methods, please contact QTW directly.
  • Payment for your order is not conducted online, but manually after we decrypt the details entered on your order.

 

CORPORATE ORDERS

  • For representatives from companies or employment agencies, please call QTW to make an order.
  • QTW accepts purchase orders. If you wish to send through a purchase order, this can be sent via fax or email. For quotes and further information about purchase orders, please contact QTW by phone or email.
  • Corporate discounts may be available for bulk orders. To determine eligibility, contact QTW by phone or email.

REFUNDS

  • Please note that we are only able to refund text books that are accompanied by a QTW receipt.
  • Books must be returned within two (2) weeks of purchase and be in new condition to be eligible for refund.
  • Books returned outside this time period or not accompanied by a receipt will be taken on a consignment basis only and sold as second hand books.
  • For further second hand consignment conditions, please contact QTW by phone or email.
  • QTW will gladly refund the full amount or arrange a replacement for purchases that are faulty, provided they are accompanied by a receipt within two weeks of purchase.

WITHDRAWAL OF ORDER

  • If you wish to withdraw an order, please contact QTW immediately via phone or email.
  • If you receive your text books, or your text books are posted prior to your withdrawal, you must send them back to the QTW postal address at your own risk. Goods returned that are in less than new condition will not be eligible for withdrawal.
  • Refunds for withdrawn orders will only be given if or when QTW has the withdrawn order in possession.  
  • Withdrawal of your order must occur before payment, or within two weeks of accepted payment.

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

  • If QTW has insufficient stock to complete your order, you will be notified as soon as possible by phone or email.
  • In regards to insufficient stock, QTW is not obliged to offer compensation for any disappoint suffered.

POSTAGE & DELIVERY

  • QTW will post goods ordered to the person and address provided at the time of order. Unless requested otherwise, orders will be processed with postage costs added to the cost of the books.
  • Your order will be despatched within one working day after your order is accepted (that is, your ordered books are in stock and your card has been processed for the full amount of the order).
  • If you would like parts of your order posted separately, each part will incur the necessary postage charge.
  • Delivery is free to Sunshine Coast TAFE, Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, Southbank Institute of Tecnology, Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE and Skills Tech campuses. Free delivery is also offered for Careers Australia Fortitude Valley (Brisbane) campus. If you wish to have your order sent to any of these campuses, please specify the institute and campus on the ‘delivery address’ field when you place your order. Please note that delivery locations and times will vary between campuses.
  • Unless otherwise requested, all orders are sent by Australia Post regular eParcel. All orders are sent using Australia Post eParcel which are issued with a consignment number and are able to be tracked. If your parcel does not arrive, please contact QTW and a tracking investigation can be conducted.
  • Where possible, interstate orders will be sent by Australia Express Post Satchel.
  • For estimated delivery times, please refer to the Australia Post website.
